Brenda Pfahnl, Attorney and Owner

Brenda is a solo practitioner and founder of Colibri Legal PLLC. She is a 2022 graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Brenda joined LegalWise upon completing a two-year fellowship with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and assists clients with immigration and small business matters. In addition to managing her legal practice, Brenda enjoys baking, gardening, spending time with her family, and serving her community through human rights and immigration advocacy. 

Brenda’s practice focuses on the intersection of immigration and entrepreneurship. Her practice provides services on matter types that are most common to small business entrepreneurs and their family members. She offers immigration assistance with citizenship, DACA, Temporary Protected Status, marriage-based adjustment, and U visas. She also assists small business owners with the most commonly faced issues such as entity formation, drafting governance documents, commercial lease reviews, and review/drafting of basic business contracts. She also provides referrals for legal aid assistance and/or specialized legal services when a client faces an issue not in her practice specialty area.
